"What I Do"

I am the Restaurant Technology Manager at @slice

As the Restaurant Technology Manager, I lead the procurement, deployment, and management of all restaurant hardware. Additionally, I work with Product and Engineering to help shape the feature roadmap of Slice Register and Slice OS. I partner with the Sales team and finance team to analyze the growth of deployment and optimize + accelerate business decisions to purchase and deploy the hardware. Manage all vendor relationships, making sure we're ahead of any delays, and negotiate contracts to reduce the cost for MDM and other licenses.

Slice transforms independent pizzerias with the specialized technology, data insights, loyalty marketing, and shared services needed to serve today’s digital-minded consumers, all at prices that are fair to shops and customers alike. Our united network of pizzerias enables us to compete against major corporate chains and form the nation’s largest marketplace for authentic pizza. Slice makes it easy for pizza lovers to order from their go-to shops, discover their next favorite, and support their local community.

Experienced IT/ Implementation / Project Management / Customer Success professional specializing in restaurant and retail POS systems and networks, possessing strong interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, extensive leadership, customer service skills and Extensive experience in the Hospitality Industry, including as Executive Chef

Experienced in building team’s in Implementations and Customer Success ( Built teams of 14 or more) and managed
Extensive experience in the SaaS environment and Startups
Extensive experience running a technology department in a restaurant company. Previously served as Director of IT for Café Gratitude restaurants
Over 19 years as a Project/Implementation Manager in Restaurant IT operations, specializing in Toast, Posi touch & PAR/Brink Point of Sale software. Experience with 13 different POS Systems software
Extensive experience in the Hospitality Industry, including as Executive Chef
A degree in Network Administration
Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, Linux, UNIX and Mac, networks and SQL databases
Impeccable technical and installation skills; implementation specialist; cabling specialist
Exceptional project management and execution skills
Excellent training, presentation, communication and customer relations skills
Organized, detail oriented, process and deadline driven
Self-starter with energetic, proactive, flexible, roll up your sleeves attitude!
